We found out last night that our friend, rick, from madison is going to join us on our travels in madrid, spain! We are really excited to travel with him. This is another invite for you all to join us at some point. Rick is proving that it can be done!
It was raining again early on in the day so we drove to several beaches. Cala Nova, Cala Mastella, cala lenya, cala de boix(nice looking hostel/rest here), es point des lieo, torre den valls and platja des figueral. Near there we found this little internet cafe. They were playing unreal when we walked in hehe. We went back to fidn our "camping" beach for the night and found it without trouble. We climbed the rocks on the left hand side of the beach. So many had climbed there before us that there was a sor of path. 2 guys were getting ready to take out their boats. They wee speaking a language that sounded like Gaelic. There semms to be quite a few British ex-patriots living here in Ibiza. The boat houses are built right into the side of the rocks by the water´s edge. Some of the boat houses have cemented ceilings so that peole can climb over the other boat houses to get to theirs. Sunset from the vantage point of a boat must be awesome! Maybe we will get that chance?! Both of us washed up a bit and washed our hair in the ocean. The water was, shall we say, "extra refreshing" ie. VERY COLD! But we feel cleaner nonetheless:) Living in a car has its drawbacks and one of them is no shower. We played some cards and along came this old english man from Manchester, England. He was walking his dog, Fudge. We talked with him for some time about many different topics. He kept talking until we were all too cold to stand outside anymore and then said our goodbyes and nice to meet yous. We both slept well. No rain or police interrupting us:)
