(caleb) Today we got in the car early and began seeing the Kerry Co. sites. We decided to do the ring of kerry. We saw some amazing castle ruins and an old fort close to cahersiveen and some great ocean views. It was nice having a car to ride in so that we could actually cover some ground. It rained all day except for when we stopped for lunch in portmagee, but that didnt bother us to much. It seemed like quite a bit was closed for the season, but we did manage to get our strength back at a pub in sneem. It was dark by the time we got into town, we decided to eat at the grainery for dinner. It was quite nice and a good value too. :) We were expecting somthing a little more traditional but I think besides the modern music it had a fine atmosphere.
