1/29/05

We awoke late and had pancakes again to use up our syrup. yummy Mark, one of the cool guys that works and lives at the hostel, thought Ang's towel was someone else's and put it in the washer and dryer. So we had to wait for the towel to be laundered before we left. We walked with Chris, Jemma and Bev to the small Galway outdoor market. Nice stuff but like I said it was very small. Once the towel was done we gathered our gear and made our way to the bus station. Yesterday we had tried to get our bus tickets online but the website wasn't operating correctly. We went up to the ticket office and the girl working there told us that the tickets would be about 3.50€ more than the internet price. So we walked to an internet place and got our ticket online for much less. Definitely worth our time and effort. So we got on the 2:30p bus to Dublin. We got into Dublin around 6pm. We found our hostel, Litton Lane Hostel, which used to be a recording studio for the likes of U2 and Elvis Costello and Sinead Oconnor. Too bad they forgot to clean the place before they turned it into a hostel. The place was sort of gross. A place to sleep nonetheless. We walked around the city and found another cheaper and cleaner hostel for the next couple of days. Then we went back to the hostel and made some phone calls, watched some tv and went to bed. Bigger beds was a plus I must say. I will value a full sized bed soo very much when we get back home.
