Yesterday was sort of a superficial sightseeing day of Cork so today we took more photos of the major sites. Such as St Finbarr's Cathedral, Parliament Bridge, National Monument, Grande Parade and St Patrick's Street. Marie-Josee came with us until about 3:45pm then she went shopping for Irish stuff and Caleb and I met our new friend, Ann. Ann is absolutely hilarious and so very nice. She is just grand:) We had met Ann in Madrid at Barbieri Hostel. She has just moved to Cork and is staying in her friend, Francis', house. So we went to the house to prepare and eat dinner and hang out Irish style. hehe Ann made this amazing meal from scratch! Falafels, a mint yoghurt sauce, millet with garlic and onions and fresh bakery bread with fresh cut tomatoes to top it all off. It was grand. We rolled the falafels and helped Ann fry them. We got to meet Francis and her 17 month old baby girl, Earan, and the Earan's father, Allan that lives around the corner from Ann and Francis. Earan is a gorgeous child. Ang has been exhausted all week so we walked back to the hostel with Ann and said goodbye and went to bed.
