Up and away, we are on our waz to switzerland. The french countryside is lined with a crust of sparkling frost. The mountains started at the border of France and continued on thru Switzerland. We arrived in Zurich around 5pm and the search was on for our hostel. We stayed at City Backpacker Hostel right downtown Zurich. We got a 4 person mixed dorm, but only Caleb, Antonio and I stayed there so it was like having a private room. Antonio took a nap and Caleb and I went on a search for food and to see a bit of the city. It was Sunday so by that time many things had closed. We walked up and down the Hauptbahnhof strasse and finally Caleb, in German no less, asked these two gzys where to find a supermarkt.We were both excited because thez answered us in German and we actually understood! It turned out that the onlzy markets open were in the main Zurich train station (called the Hauptbahnhof). There was a mini mall in the basement floors of the Hauptbahnhof. soi we procured ourselves some vittles and returned to the hostel to make dinner. Then we did laundry and fell into bed because I was exhausted!
