I guess that we were exhausted because we slept in until after noon. We got up and made breakfast. Real homemade breakfast with eggs(caleb had scrambled and i had an omelette) with garlic, red pepper, onion, and cheese! Mmmm. Along with some bakery fresh baguette bread! We tried to make what we thought was bacon however, it eas a different cut of pord with the outer skini of the big and some bristly hair still on it! We were totally grossed out. Caleb scut the skin off and we cooked the crap out of it and used it and the eggs anyway. Live and learn and eat :)
We sat with Alessandra and Emiliano and talked for hours. Then we went to the intern et place acoss the street(only 1 euro per hour) to check email and update or weblog. Thwen we walked around and shopped at the local markets and shops. We found a new buckle for my backpack and I got a new white undershirt to keep me warm for only 4€! Everything is cheaper here then anywhere else that we have gone. Its nice. Alessandra dn Emiliano make dinner for use(italian salad with baguetts olives and sausages for appitizers, then lasagna for second course adn a bean dish for the third. It was delicious. Real Italian cooking and homeade. Later a few of their friends came over. They were all very nice. One guy, also from Italy and studying here in Barcelona, spoke quite good English. We 9of course talked politics and he was very curious about many aspects of American life.(education, healthcare). They were all shocked at teh cust of both. Caleb and Emiliano played chess until nearly 4 am then we went bilssfully to sleep. Zzz
